VARIASI LEKSIKAL TIGA ISOLEK DALAM KELUARGA BAHASA MELAYU RIAU

The topic of this research is the lexical variations in Riau Malay language family. This study aims to describe the calculation or determination of the percentage of linguistic variations contained in Riau Malay language family in the three isolects (Tualang, Kesumbo Ampai, and Pelalawan) and lexical variations contained in Riau Malay language family in the three isolects. The three isolects are in the neighboring districts of Siak, Bengkalis and Pelalawan.. This research uses dialectometry method with quantitative and qualitative approach. The quantitative approach observes the percentage of language variations, while the qualitative approach describes the lexicon variations. From the calculation of dialectometry, the vocabulary distance of the three isolects in Riau Malay language family indicates that (1) the interisolects of Tualang and Pelalawan are considered to be no difference; (2) the interisolects of Kesumbo Ampai and Pelalawan are considered to have different speech, and (3) the interisolects ofTualang and Kesumbo Ampai are considered to have different speech. Meanwhile, the variation of lexicons in Riau Malay language family in the three isolects of 200 glosses are 64 varied glosses.References
