Penelitian ini mengkaji tindak tutur performatif dalam sumpah politik dari perspektif lintas bahasa. Tujuan utama penelitian adalah untuk menganalisis struktur linguistik, fungsi pragmatis, dan implikasi sosio-kultural dari sumpah politik di berbagai konteks budaya dan bahasa. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis wacana kritis, penelitian ini meneliti korpus sumpah politik dari lima negara dengan latar belakang budaya dan linguistik yang berbeda. Data dikumpulkan melalui studi dokumen resmi dan rekaman video sumpah jabatan pejabat tinggi negara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pola universal dalam struktur performatif sumpah politik, namun dengan variasi linguistik dan kulturalyang signifikan. Ditemukan bahwa pilihan kata, struktur gramatikal, dan elemen paralinguistik dalam sumpah politik tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai formalitas hukum, tetapi juga sebagai alat legitimasi kekuasaan dan konstruksi identitas nasional.
